Hayat Private University for Science and Technology (HPUST)
HPUST is a private university located in Erbil, established in 2009, HPUST accepting students for this year according to conditions and rules that set by Ministry of Higher Education in Kurdistan. HPUST has several departments in different fields and subjects to provide a wide range of choices for the student.For example, HPUST has four different colleges, college of engineering, college of science, college of management, and college of law.

In the name of God the Almighty
Depending on God and after acquiring all the formal approvals from the government of Kurdistan Region and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the Region, we opened Hayat Private University for Science and Technology. In this year, the university started receiving students in its temporary location for (College of Petroleum Engineering, College of Environmental Engineering, College of Pathological Analysis, College of Law, and College of Business Administration) after preparing all the educational and laboratorial necessities as well as the educational staff. Meanwhile, the permanent location of the university is being planned and built. This includes building fifteen colleges with their associated buildings which are (presidency of the university, the central library, students' restaurant and club, the building of scientific inquiries, the building of the center of scientific research, students' residences, and educational staff's and employees' residences). The specified period for completing this project is five years.
We will endeavor to make this university work hand in hand with the other private and governmental universities in order to achieve the scientific goals which are devised by the government of Kurdistan Region for continuing and improving the scientific development in the world.

Begin construction the first set of buildings in the new complex of the University.
we have commenced the construction of the first set of buildings in the new compound of the university. Timetable for the completion of this stage is next October 2012, where the vast majority of our students will start their study, next year, at this new building.
